What couses listeners to dislike a song?
What causes listeners to dislike a song?
Before answering this question, let's explain some things.
What is music?
The definition of Carnatic music is "Music is a sound that is pleasant to hear".
So what is Naam?
"caused by resonant vibration
Sound is sound."
There are pleasant and unpleasant sounds in sound. Swaras are pleasant sounds. Swaras are differentiated according to the decreasing and increasing frequency of vibration in the sound.
Now let's find the answer to the above question. When the singer sings, if the notes do not come out delicately, the song will not be enjoyable to listen to. Swaras are the basis of every song and raga? To sing swaras carefully, one needs to study music and practice it constantly. Then the song sung will feel pleasant to the listeners.

Don't feel like singing?
Don't feel like singing?
Even if you have the ability to sing well, if you don't feel like singing, what's the use of having that ability, right?
There are many reasons why singers do not feel like singing. Mental stress, depression, personal, family and other problems can kill the soul to sing.
Ancient scriptures talk about forming the mind to sing.
"Japakodi Goodness Meditation,
Dhyanakodi Guna Laya
Layakodi Guna song
Ganal Parataram Nahi"
That is, if you chant a million times, the result is a meditative state. By meditating crores of times, the mind reaches the state of Laya, and after crores of Laya, the mind reaches the state of song. From this, it means that if you want to reach the "Gana" state of mind, you must chant first. Constant chanting is a form of chanting. Swarasadhak is a must for the singer.
If we say Japam, Japam is the chanting of Ishta Mantras or Omkaras for a certain number of times.
Those who are not interested in chanting can do simple meditation. 15 minutes of meditation daily is enough to get the mind to sing. Let's see how to do a simple meditation. Sit still and close your eyes. Take a deep breath in and out. Do this 30 times. Attention should be only on breathing. Then slowly open the eyes. From 30 the count should be increased slowly.
A calm mind can be acquired by making daily chanting and meditation a part of life. A quiet mind is the seat of music
